SRINAGAR: The J&K administration served Wednesday its third and final notice to PDP president and former CM Mehbooba Mufti to vacate her government bungalow on Gupkar Road in Srinagar by/before November 15.
She was given notice twice before as she lost the privilege to occupy the bungalow under the erstwhile state law after the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.
The latest notice said: “In the event of refusal or failure to comply with this order within the period specified, provisions of sub-section (2) of section 5 of The Jammu and Kashmir Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1988, shall be invoked against you and every such person occupying the scheduled premises.”
