Police arrest suspects of aggravated burglary in Cornwall
It has been reported that three male suspects have now been taken into custody by Devon and Cornwall Police in relation to a burglary in Looe where a couple where held at knifepoint in their own home.
The three men, aged 17, 19 and 20, were arrested by armed police on suspicion of aggravated burglary following the incident which occurred in the coastal town on Tuesday evening.
A man and a woman were said to have been held at knifepoint by the three men just before 7pm at their home in Trenant Road, East Looe.
The burglars forced their entry into the house and although a police spokesman has confirmed that the victims had not been hurt, they were still left distressed after the crime. The stolen items have since been recovered by police.
The suspects are being held at Launceston police station.
An appeal has been made by police for people with any information to come forward and get in touch with them.
